It collapsed a little when I dished it up onto the plate, but if anything it’s just more delicious now.

So yeah, there we go. Crépe lasagne, made with some leftover lentil tomato ragu, a cheesy béchamel that I just made and up with kalamata olives, and a little bit of a sweet and sour crunchy salad on top for garnish and contrast.

This is the new house special lunch at our house. Avocado toast on multigrain with egg slices, quick pickled red onion and everything bagel seasoning. With pre-boiled eggs it is so fast, so pretty, so delicious. I learned I could put thin slices of red onion in a cup in the microwave with a pinch of sugar and a little red wine vinegar and get perfect results in 2 minutes. #food #foodporn #lunch

I love it when kids come to visit because that means my wife relaxes the rules a little and I get to eat food I am otherwise not allowed to eat...like lots of rice. I am still trying to keep my weight and A1C within limits. But today she made absolutely awesome chicken biryani and let's just say I am going to have to walk it off for atleast an hour or so.
